NORMA FARBER AWARD
For a first book of original poetry written by a living author who lives in the United States or is a U.S. citizen. The book must be published in either a hard or soft cover in a standard edition in 2024. Translations are ineligible, as are chapbooks. A $500 cash prize goes to the author.
WILLIAM CARLOS WILLIAMS AWARD
For a book of poetry written by a living author who lives in the United States or is a U.S. citizen. The book must be published by a small press, non-profit, or university press in a standard edition in 2024. Translations are ineligible, as are chapbooks. A $500 cash prize goes to the author.
The following rules apply to both book awards:
• Publisher may not submit the same title to both contests
• Publisher may submit any number of titles to each contest
• Publishers must submit 2 copies of each title
• Submissions must be postmarked between October 1 and December 31, 2024
• Entry fee is $20 per title submitted
• Self-published books are ineligible
• No books will be returned
• Book should be sent via USPS
• Send receipt of payment with entry
